Sturdy Covers—Always a Good Fit

Never settling for anything less than a perfect fit, AMI designs each cover for both the rigors of the industry and the job at hand. Made of 10-gauge stainless steel, the covers are almost three times thicker than other covers. So they resist damage from rough handling and continue to seal tanks to governmental standards every time. The heavy gage also allows welding any combination of fittings to the covers, giving users the freedom to use the ports, vents, and agitation units that will offer them optimum performance and safety.

Rugged Construction.

Made of 10-gauge 304 or 316 stainless steel to withstand rough handling and to resist the warping that welding several fittings to thinner-gauge covers can cause.

Custom Fittings.

Select from hundreds of options in six categories to install the filling ports, safety vents, and agitation units that fit the job the best.

A Flush Fit.

Fittings are machined to fit flush with the underside and are fuse welded on bottom of the cover. The flush fit and polished welds eliminate a collection point for solids and a source of cleaning headaches.

Smooth Finish.

Standard covers come with a 2B finish to aid cleaning. Smoother, custom-polished surfaces are available. Electrochemical polishing also an option.
